Former Trump Lawyer Michael Cohen Just Blew Up The Entire ’34 Felonies’ Conviction – He Should Get A Pardon

Democrats spent two years chanting “34 felony convictions” like a liturgy. CNN’s senior legal analyst just buried it — on CNN.

Elie Honig didn’t have a sudden change of heart. He’s been saying since before the ink dried on the original verdict that this case was legally indefensible. Writing in New York Magazine back in May 2024, he called the prosecution a case where prosecutors “contorted the law in an unprecedented manner,” calling it an “unjustified mess.” He said the same thing the next day. He’s been saying it consistently ever since. He said it again this week.
