Housewife's Son Had ‘Derogatory’ Sex Video with Family on Phone: Prosecutor

Housewife's Son Had ‘Derogatory’ Sex Video with Family on Phone: Prosecutor

A highly anticipated bond hearing for KJ Biermann, the 15-year-old son of former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak, concluded with a massive bombshell from prosecutors. KJ is facing seven felony sex crime charges for allegedly sexually assaulting a 15-year-old female classmate at a gym. During the hearing, prosecutors revealed shocking details about KJ's prior juvenile record and alleged videos found on his phone. Read the full breakdown below.

1. The Prosecution's Bombshell: Alleged "Predatory" Videos

The most explosive moment of the hearing occurred when Deputy District Attorney Caitlyn McGillicuddy detailed KJ's prior juvenile history to the court. She revealed that at the time of the alleged gym assault, KJ was actively under court supervision for a prior juvenile conviction of felony sexual battery against a child under 16.

Even more shocking, the prosecutor claimed that authorities found videos hidden in a folder on KJ’s phone depicting him allegedly having penetrative sex with a family member who was under the age of 12. The prosecutor described the videos as showing "multiple encounters" and characterized KJ's language toward the victim as "predatory" and "derogatory."

2. The Defense Fights Back: "Grossly Misrepresented"

KJ's defense attorney, Jason Sheffield, vigorously pushed back against the state's characterization of his client's past. In a statement to the media, Sheffield argued that the prosecutor "grossly misrepresented both the facts and the ultimate resolution" of the prior juvenile case. He claimed the previous incident involved "inappropriate, crude behavior involving two middle schoolers" and did not result in a conviction for statutory rape or sexual intercourse.

During the hearing, Sheffield focused his arguments on the lack of physical evidence linking KJ to the current gym assault allegations. He repeatedly emphasized to the judge that despite a thorough examination of the alleged victim by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, no male DNA was found on or inside her body. Sheffield argued that this lack of DNA proves his client's claim of 100% innocence.

The hearing also featured a powerful and emotional statement written by the 15-year-old alleged victim, read aloud by a victim advocate. The teenager described the severe backlash she has faced from peers since coming forward, stating that she has lost friends and that people are calling her "disgusting."

More alarmingly, she detailed receiving direct death threats via DMs, texts, and phone calls from people associated with KJ. She pleaded with the judge to deny bond, writing, "If he is released, I am afraid the threats, calls, emails, and backlash will become even worse... I just want to feel safe again." The judge concluded the hearing without making an immediate ruling on bond, stating she would issue her decision by Monday.
