Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Could Return to Montecito Over One Reason

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could reportedly shift back to Montecito for one particular reason. Last month, the Sussexes flew privately from California to Birmingham. They plan to stay in the UK for an extended period of time. Harry also recently made a solo appearance at the inaugural Invictus Spirit Gala Dinner and Awards in London. However, certain circumstances could force the couple to return to Montecito.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's future in Britain could depend on their government security review, sources say

According to insiders, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could move back to Montecito due to their government security review. Fans are aware that the Sussexes are attempting to secure taxpayer-funded security in the UK. Previously, their right to state-funded security was stripped when they stepped down as working royals and moved to the US in January 2020.

The couple was requested to document their "pattern of life," especially involving school runs with their children, to ensure they are eligible for taxpayer-funded security. In fact, the Sussexes recently withdrew their children, Archie and Lilibet, from school due to security concerns. Now, royal sources have dished to the Daily Mail that if they don't secure taxpayer-funded security, they could likely move back to Montecito.
As per sources, RAVEC is reviewing Harry and Meghan's security matter, and their decision is expected "within weeks." Moreover, the Duke of Sussex is reportedly certain that RAVEC's decision will be in his favour because of "who he was when he was born."

"He thinks that a decision will come imminently, this week or next week, and that it will be a RAVEC U-turn. The expectation is that the Home Office will try and play down and mute as much as they can to save face, but it is coming," the source added.

However, Harry's friend has dished that if the couple fail to secure state-funded security, they could move back to Montecito. The friend explained that the Duke would then be convinced that "deeper elements" are at play and he would feel safer in the US than in Britain and shift back.

Harry and Meghan are reportedly staying at an affluent friend's estate in the Cotswolds and haven't begun the official house-hunting process.
