Real reason Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are renting a home in UK
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have set up home in the UK with their children.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are probably over their jet lag now after returning to the UK just days ago to set up home in the country. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who left the UK for a life in America in 2020, have relocated back to Britain with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
The move came towards the end of August, with the couple and their children flying into the country on a private jet. They landed at Birmingham Airport, where they then made their way by road to their new UK home. The location of the home has not been disclosed, however it is believed to be outside of London.
t is also reported that their new home, which is a private residence, is being rented by the couple rather than purchased.
This could be for a few reasons, a property expert has said, with the main one being the fact that it allows the couple to test out life in Britain without making a long-term commitment.
Saif Derzi, founder of Property Buyers Today, told The Daily Express: “Given the amount of travelling Harry and Meghan do and the possibility that their plans could change, I think renting is a much more realistic option than immediately purchasing a multi-million-pound property.
“A high-end rental would give them the privacy and security they need, while allowing them to test out an area without making a long-term commitment.”
Both Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five, have been enrolled into a British school, which they are likely to start at in a matter of days.

The family also reportedly flew their dogs Mamma Mia and Pula to the UK with them.
Harry, 41, and Meghan, 45, have not sold their Montecito home, and still own the mansion in California. It is believed they are also still keeping some staff at the mansion, who will have the important job of keeping an eye on the family’s chickens.
