Illegally, almost.
He had no right to enter, so he used old photographs and public records. Then he sent me an email titled REALISTIC VALUE.
I did not open it.
I forwarded it to Mr. Lawson.
He called five minutes later.
“Ruth, your son is struggling with the concept of ownership.”
“He always has.”
“May I respond?”
“What will you say?”
“That any further valuation efforts regarding your property will be treated as continued harassment.”
I smiled for the first time that day.
“Add that the azaleas are not for sale either.”
